Exchange assets follow the underlying market. OTC assets never close.
Forex (exchange)
Currency pairs trade continuously from the Sydney open on Monday to the New York close on Friday.
Stocks and indices
US stocks and indices follow NYSE/Nasdaq hours; European and Asian indices follow their local sessions.
Commodities
Gold, silver and oil follow the COMEX and NYMEX trading calendars with short daily breaks.
Cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin, Ethereum and other crypto assets are quoted around the clock, every day.
OTC assets
Pocket Option OTC quotes for forex, stocks, commodities and indices are available when exchanges are closed.
Times shown in the schedule use the UTC+2 platform time zone. Trading is paused briefly around major economic releases on some assets.
How to read the Pocket Option asset schedule
Four things to check before you choose an asset.
Compare payouts, not just prices
A 92% payout means a $10 trade returns $19.20 if correct. Assets with the same movement but higher payout are simply more profitable.
Pick the active session
Volatility is highest when the underlying market is open — London/New York overlap for forex, US session for stocks.
Understand OTC quotes
OTC assets are priced by the platform and keep the same rules and payouts, which is why they are popular on weekends.
