What the payout percentage means
In binary options the payout is the fixed profit you receive if your prediction is correct, expressed as a percentage of the trade amount. If a trade of $10 has a payout of 92% and closes in the money, you get back $19.20 ($10 investment + $9.20 profit). If it closes out of the money, you lose the $10. The asymmetry — winning less than you risk — is why the payout percentage matters so much.
